People, i want you guys to think about it okay?

currently, i guess you all knows wad's the stat of the band. i hope, you all can improve on your attendance rate. ask your friends to come for practices. i don't want to hear reasons like, i don't feel like coming etc.etc. get to the bottom of the reason. at least valid.

what's the point when only 10 odd people committing to a small band? listen up! a band, needs EVERY SINGLE SOUL, to be committed! should a band be lyk a pyramid or a cube/cuboid? a foundation which is strong and when years goes by, it's dropping/falling? OR with a strong foundation and always stay strong for the rest of the years?

i want u people, to go read about other band's blog. and come to think about ours. is not much difference. most bands are going through wad we are. but a reminder to all is, our band is really much much much more smaller then the rest. if u really want to secure this band, hope you people know what to do.

for other sch band members who happened to step into this blog, as for ur information, we might be a small band, but we are surely not a good pushover! though in the past 2 syf, we only clinch a bronze award, but we are satisfied. we did out best on stage, and we are proud of our achievement.

if u all dun lyk us, u need not have to say till so badly.. as for the person-from other band who have left a tag in our tagboard, i noe ur band is capable of going to europe, playing pieces that is difficult, but please note, karma do goes around, if u can say us, u better be careful! bcoz saying others doesn't do u anything good. so wad u all play difficult pieces? so wad u all going to europe? though u all can play difficult pieces, can ur band playing beat the original piece? can ur band acheive those dynamics ranges? and who are u to say us? just imagine that other ppl are saying ur band, how would u feel?? THINK BOUT IT! wad a childish act to say us, thinking we are some kind of pushover? please noe ur limit!

PUNGGOL SECONDARY CONCERT BAND, also known as PSSB, was established in 2001. Through the years, with the support from the School and Teachers, PSSB have managed to overcome challenges and achieved beyond boundaries.

The Band has been under our Resident Conductress, Ms Ten Rong Rong, since our founding days. Under her baton, the Band participated in her first ever SYF in the year 2005, attaining a Bronze Medal. Since then, PSSB has maintained her standard and earned her well deserved medals in both Year 2007 and 2009.

Being part of the Performing Arts Group, the Band has constantly been part of the school’s celebration. From CNY Concert to the Annual Speech Day, PSSB is always there to bring entertaining music to the crowd. Apart from that, the Band is also nicknamed as the heart-beat of Punggol Secondary’s Marching Contingents.

PSSB started its very own mini-concert last year, specially organized for the members’ parents for their continuous support for the Band. The Band also performed in her first joined concert at TPY HDB HUB in 2006. In 2008, the Band was also involved in the Performing Group Concert held at the NAFA.

Together with Ms Ten and the teachers, PSSB is confident that we can continue to strive and attain higher standards of musicianship and also the passion for music in years to come.
